WebRTC Leak Test

This tool checks your browser's WebRTC settings to determine whether your true IP address or internal network details are exposed, even when using a VPN.

What Is a WebRTC Leak?

WebRTC is used for real-time communication directly between browsers. During connection setup, it gathers ICE candidates that may include your public IP, local IPs, and other network information. This test displays the gathered data so you can see exactly what is being exposed.

Typically, the leaked data may include your public IP address, private (local) IPs, and sometimes information about your ISP or network configuration. Even when using a VPN, if WebRTC is enabled, it may bypass your VPN tunnel.

No IP addresses were detected from WebRTC. This may indicate that your browser is secure or that the test did not retrieve any candidates.

How to Interpret the Results

If only your public IP is displayed, your browser is handling WebRTC securely. If additional (local) IP addresses appear, there’s a potential leak. If WebRTC is blocked, no leak is possible - this is the ideal configuration.
